For Physical Education Teachers

Put the FUN back in teaching basketball Fundamentals! Teach basketball without being
an expert! Basketball is a very popular sport. The problem is a handful of children
want to just play the game, while the rest of the children may like basketball a little,
but don't want to play the game at the competitive level. How do you get all kids in a
program excited about learning basketball skills?
For the past several years, I have been teaching Physical Educators and After
School Coordinators how to do just that during my extremely popular workshops at state
and national AAHPERD(American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and
Dance) and NSACA (National School-Age Care Alliance) Conventions.

Looking for a professional development workshop for your school faculty and staff? I use basketball and other sports and fitness drills to help adults remember how trying something out of their comfort zone can be both challenging and invigorating. All teachers have stories of a child blooming in math, reading or sports when everything falls together. In this workshop all staff take the time to be kids again so they can do their best for their students.

teaching basketball to one that can't wait to get on the court!"

sense of progression of skill development was evident…her motivational style of
presentation also gave the participants a feeling of accomplishment and fulfillment.”
Dr. J. Mehrhof, Professor - Emporia State University, Emporia, KS
"I was really impressed with your training! We had purchase Skillastics games but had not had a chance to introduce it. Thanks for giving me the ideas on how to train our site coordinators to use your awesome program.”
